Love, Joy, Peace...
Love God... Love People... Pass it on...
Ignite Hope Church is the Lebanon Oregon Free Methodist Church. We're called "Free Methodist" because we embrace the passion of John Wesley, founder of the Methodist Church, who felt God's love for people outside of the church is central to the identity of the Church. And we emphasize the demand that such love must never be only offered to those who have something to offer us in return.
Welcome to Ignite Hope Church
Why become part of a church? If someone says, "I think you should come to church," what they usually really mean is, "I think there's something wrong with you. You need to be fixed." There's a lot of problems with that thinking: most of all, you're gonna find that church is not a place where everyone has it all together. In fact, a lot of times, you're gonna find that church is just the place that people go where they can pretend that everything is fine. Ignite Hope is different. People who have come together as the Church at Ignite Hope are people who don't try to pretend that we're something that we're not, or trying to look like we're better than we are. We're excited about who God really is, and how He loves us so incredibly. We're discovering that by getting to know each other better, and accepting people as they are, we grow together into the potential that God has for us. Ordinary people- extraordinary hope.
Kids
We take the emotional and spiritual well-being of children very seriously. Our children's ministry is not simply a childcare option for parents who want to attend church without their children. It is purposefully designed to provide children with a safe environment to explore their own understanding of biblical ideas and develop their own relationship with God in a way that is tailored to their unique level of understanding.

Teens & Young Adults
High school and college can be complicated and confusing times of life. We strive to tailor the opportunities we have available to the specific kinds of needs that will best serve these members of our community.

Seniors
There can be a lot of pain, frustration, and confusion that goes along with getting older (particularly in a society that has become so dependent on technology). Many seniors feel isolated or out of touch. At Ignite Hope, we're striving to build a culture that honors the aging people in our midst and never leaves anyone behind.

Game Times
So much of being a church community is really about just taking time to get to know one another. That's why we offer a game time, twice a week: so that you can just be yourself and get to know others in a fun and friendly atmosphere

Bible Study
So... yeah. The Bible is a really big Book. What makes it even more confusing is that there are so many different ways that different people interpret what the Bible says. We really believe that, if we're honest with ourselves and with each other, truth will win out. So we've created an environment where we can study the Bible together even if we may disagree on different things that the Bible may say.
